SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Thursday, February 16, 2017) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Patrick Phillips has been hired as a Vice President, Business Development in the bank’s SBA and Commercial Lending Department. Patrick will be based out of New Mexico and will cover markets across all 50 states.

Patrick joins Celtic Bank with over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. His primary focus has been in SBA Lending. "I look forward to working with a talented team of professionals and to contributing to the success of Celtic Bank," said Patrick. "I am especially looking forward to the entrepreneurial environment and the pace of business activity."

HANG CHAN JOINS CELTIC BANK AS VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Thursday, February 16, 2017) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Hang Chan has been hired as Vice President, Business Development in the bank’s SBA and Commercial Lending Department. Hang will be based out of San Francisco, California.

Hang joins Celtic Bank with over 12 years of sales and credit experience in business banking and SBA.  Most recently, Hang was a senior SBA credit underwriter who had helped customers with over $70MM in credit requests at the Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco.

MICHAEL FOSMARK LEADS NEW SPECIALTY COMMERCIAL FINANCE GROUP AT CELTIC BANK

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Thursday, January 19, 2017) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Michael Fosmark is heading its new Specialty Commercial Finance Division. This new department brings together several established lines of business within the bank, including Leasing & Equipment Finance, Construction Financing, Asset-Based Lending and Renewable Energy

Fosmark, with over 30 years of banking and finance experience, joined Celtic Bank in 2015. He spent the previous 12 years building a local Utah bank from the ground up and sought out yet another “ground floor” challenge at Celtic in building its new equipment finance division, leveraging the bank’s national reach as a top-ten SBA lender. He now has a solid Leasing and Equipment Finance team in place, which includes long-time colleague Trevor Rawlings.

TROY D’AMBROSIO JOINS CELTIC BANK'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Wednesday, January 4, 2017) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Troy D’Ambrosio has joined its Board of Directors.

Troy joins Celtic Bank with a wealth of entrepreneurial experience. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah. Since 2014, he has also held the Presidential Chair in Entrepreneurship and continues to serve as Assistant Dean of the David Eccles School of Business, both also at the University of Utah. Troy has co-founded multiple business ventures and was the recipient of the Governor’s Medal in Science and Technology in 2015.

“Troy’s business and entrepreneurial experience is very impressive and I look forward to the significant contribution he will make. MATT BITAR JOINS CELTIC BANK AS VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT IN SBA LENDING DEPARTMENT

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Thursday, September 1, 2016) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Matt Bitar has been hired as Vice President of Business Development in the SBA and Commercial Lending department. Matt will be based out of Avon, Indiana.

Matt has been in the industry for over 15 years, and has concentrated on SBA/USDA exclusively for the last five years. He’s excited to be able to utilize the full breadth of the SBA SOP moving forward with Celtic Bank.

“There is no greater feeling in the banking world than helping business owners take that next step they have been working so hard to achieve.” Matt attributes his success to listening to clients’ needs and being able to see things from an owner’s perspective. This comes from his own previous entrepreneurial experience as owner and operator of a marketing company, tanning salon, retail store and restaurant.

SALT LAKE CITY (December 11, 2015) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Trent Wardrop has been hired as Marketing Automation and Operations Manager in the Celtic Bank Marketing Department. Trent will be based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Trent joins Celtic Bank with over 10 years of experience in marketing. Most recently, he served as the VP of Marketing for Inside Real Estate, a SLC-based startup offering marketing automation and customer relationship management to real estate brokers and agents. AMY MIKSIS JOINS CELTIC BANK’S SBA AND COMMERCIAL LENDING TEAM

SALT LAKE CITY (October 22, 2015) — Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Amy Miksis has been hired as Assistant Vice President of Business Development in the bank’s SBA and Commercial Lending Department. Amy will be based in West Warwick, Rhode Island and will focus her business development efforts in the Northeast and New England states.

Amy joins Celtic Bank with over 7 years of experience in the financial services industry and 4 years in commercial lending. Amy began her banking career at Home Loan Investment Bank as a Commercial Loan Administrator and worked her way up to Senior Commercial Credit Analyst. “I am excited to join Celtic Bank in a business development role,” said Amy. “Celtic Bank’s common sense approach to small business lending was especially appealing to me.”
