SALT LAKE CITY, UT (Tuesday, July 10th 2018)—Celtic Bank is pleased to announce that Cindy Santilena has been hired as Vice President of Business Development in the bank’s SBA/USDA Lending Department. Cindy will be based out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cindy joins Celtic Bank as a leader in SBA lending—obtaining top awards both nationally and within the local community where she lives. She was recognized as Bank of America’s #1 SBA Business Development Officer in 2017 and has been listed as a top SBA BDO in the Coleman Report. Cindy enjoys dedicating her time and expertise to helping the communities she serves through building small businesses.

“I am thrilled to be working for Celtic Bank and for the opportunity I will have to help even more small businesses achieve their goals,” says Cindy. “Coming to Celtic is exciting because our focus is SBA—from approvals to closings—and the bank’s mission aligns perfectly with mine. I will continue to help companies grow by offering financing structures that make sense, and by being able to say ‘yes’ when others say ‘no.’”

“Cindy’s reputation as a top-performing business lender is well known,” says Jim Harris, Senior Vice President of Business Development, “and I am confident that her joining forces with Celtic Bank is a benefit to everyone—including the many small business owners who will be helped by Cindy’s impressive background in finance, now bolstered by Celtic Bank’s nationwide leadership in SBA and USDA lending. To add someone to my team that has as many achievements and awards as Cindy has accumulated is genuinely exciting for me personally. I can’t wait to work with her—and learn from her, too.”

Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and international finance from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designee and served on the board of directors. She is also an active member of NAIOP and CREW.
